Alright, I have built a rocket launcher out of PVC pipe and a couple of sprinkler valves. It has 2 launch booms and i wired a nine volt battery to the sprinkler valves with a button to control opening and closing the valve. i hooked my air compressor to the rocket launcher and had my kids build some paper rockets. first launch, the rocket blew apart. second launch the rocket went sooo far we couldn't see it in the sky!! a minute or so later pieces of it started making their way to the ground. needless to say, i am still perfecting the rockets, they are almost reaching orbit!! i will post a video later on to show you guys what it does! it would be a fun reunion thingy for uncles and kids!!

wow josh.. very impressive, making rockets and such! sounds like a good time... I would love to see it go into orbit for sure! next time I am at your heezy for sure
paper rockets seem like the way to go. We got tayson a model rocket as a reward for ptty training. derid had fond memories of launching them off in the desert. well, we took some friends with us to a park to try it out. The rocket went crazy! we are super lucky we didn't hurt anyone. we still have one more rocket, but i think we will wait until we have a huge open space. anyways... i love the creative learning/fun you got going on!
